  • A Lost Sheep

a lost sheep in dark wilderness

“What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off.

    Matthew 18:12-13 NLT

There are dark days in our lives that we think we are in control. This sheep reminds me that I was once lost and now I’m found. I tried to depend on my skills and rebel on my Shepherd’s voice. I pray that you will also hear the His voice by simply asking, seeking and knocking to His hearts.

  • Unload the excess baggage

Whatever perseverance a person has, if he/she still has unresolved matters of the heart, it is still heavy and difficult terrain to move forward to the goal.

Learn to let go of your excess baggage. Learn to forgive. Learn to be a better version of yourself from past challenges and don’t dwell there.

  • Start with a baby steps

It starts with a pressure to write something and my 1 year old son inspired me to write even if it will not make to 1000 words as long as you’re taking small baby steps to blog consistently rather than not writing at all.

I need to focus on small steps and continuously improve as I start my journey.

  • Starting Point

I was inspired and challenged to blog daily from this post. I push myself to publish my daily insights about how I view the world today, inspire others, and dump ideas quickly. I welcome comment and criticism to better refine my blog post and challenge my self to write better everyday.

    What’s my view today?

It’s getting hotter and hotter in the Philippines right now and people are going out now for a vacation due to long holiday during Holy Week. I was looking forward to have a quieter, less traffic Metro Manila as people are going back to their respective provinces for a short vacation or reunion. This is also a restart of this long vacation during Holy Week after the Pandemic since last year are still somehow limited in movement.

    Something to inspire

Start or revisit your Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) as well as your Cash Flow during long vacation. There might be an adjustment needed based on your financial goals. There might be adjustment on the budget due to the changes on the interest and inflation rates.

  • Why everyday better?

It started when I learned about Kaizen where you can improve 1% better everyday. This helps me for a continuous improvement from different aspect of life, leadership, marriage, parenting, career, and ministry.
